Our Commitment to Privacy
We know that your privacy is important to you. We provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.

The Information We Collect
This notice applies to all information collected or submitted through the Found Animals Microchip Registry ("Registry") website or received through communicating with Found Animals Foundation, Inc. ("Found Animals") electronically. The Registry collects the email addresses of those who register and those who communicate with us via email, aggregates information on which pages users access or visit, and collects information volunteered by users, such as demographic information including name, company, address, telephone, email, as well as information about users' pets; and survey information and/or site registrations. Because the Registry’s purpose is to ensure the safety, welfare, and reunification of a lost pet, Found Animals reserves the right to share personal contact information with any partner shelter or rescue or any person who initiates a found pet alert or has possession of your lost pet. The Registry may use cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyze data about website traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to user needs.

How the Information is Used
The Registry uses the information you provide about yourself when registering the microchip to contact you when your lost pet is found; to improve the content of our website; to notify website users about updates to our website; to contact website users for marketing, sales, educational or customer service purposes, disclosed when legally required to do so, at the request of governmental authorities conducting an investigation; to verify or enforce compliance with the policies governing our website and applicable laws; or to protect against misuse or unauthorized use of our website. If you do not want to receive marketing communications from us in the future, please contact us at unsubscribe@foundanimals.org. You may continue to receive customer service communications when necessary, even if you elect not to receive marketing communications from us.

Security and Compliance
Found Animals has appropriate physical and electronic security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that Found Animals may have collected from you at our website.

Privacy Practices of Other Sites and Entities
Found Animals may link to other websites not affiliated with the Registry. The Registry attempts to link only to those websites which also respect visitors' privacy. However, the Registry cannot be responsible for the content or policies of third party web sites. If you find inoperable links, please inform the Registry by contacting at info@foundanimals.org.
